LA’s Ruth Ulrich Elected Vice Chairman of the Republican National Committee

As an RNC Vice Chairman representing the Southern Region, Ruth Ulrich serves as a member of the RNC Executive Committee that conducts the administrative functions of the party between RNC meetings.

“The next two years are critically important for the Republican National Committee as we prepare for the 2012 presidential election and I’m pleased to congratulate Ruth on her election to this important leadership post,” said Republican Party of Louisiana Chairman Roger Villere. “I’ve worked closely with Ruth for several years on the Louisiana Republican State Central Committee and I am certain that she will bring the same principled conservative leadership to the RNC as she’s given to the LA GOP.“

Ruth Ulrich was elected to the Louisiana Republican State Central Committee in 2004 and in 2008 was elected to serve Louisiana as Republican National Committeewoman. She is a member of the Ouachita Parish Executive Committee, Ouachita Parish Women’s Republican Club, the Louisiana Federation of Republican Women, and the National Federation of Republican Women. Prior to her election as vice chairman of the RNC, Ruth served as a member of the RNC’s Redistricting Committee and as a member of the RNC Convention Site Selection Committee that recommended Tampa, FL as the site of the 2012 national convention.

    That's wonderful! I hope that she can keep the new chairman in line. What's all this talk about the law firm that he is associated with being against repeal of the health care bill?
