Sangisetty Receives Alliance for Good Government Endorsement
“As far as good government goes, the contrast between Ravi and Jeff Landry couldn’t be clearer.”
HOUMA, La. — Ravi Sangisetty, Democratic nominee for Congress in Louisiana’s Third District, said we need to send new, honorable leadership to Washington.
“I am proud to have the endorsement of the Alliance for Good Government,” Sangisetty said. “I’m running for Congress to fight to make the 3rd District better. We need an open and accountable government that works for South Louisiana.”
Sangisetty for Congress Campaign Manager Julienne Uhlich said Jeff Landry broke federal election laws while he managed Craig Romero’s unsuccessful bid for Congress in 2006.
“As far as good government goes, the contrast between Ravi and Jeff Landry couldn’t be clearer. Jeff Landry is known for running corrupt campaigns,” she said. “He took illegal contributions and failed to document spending. That’s unacceptable and the voters deserve an honest and transparent election.”
Uhlich also raised concerns about Landry’s current Federal Election Commission reports.
“As Major General Hunt Downer pointed out, Jeff Landry is paying thousands of dollars from his campaign account to a company he owns,” Uhlich said. “Given Landry’s history, maybe someone should check his freezer.”
