Poll on Lt. Governor

August 30, 2010

Now that the federal office picture has cleared up, it’s time to take a closer look at state wide offices, beginning with Lt. Governor. Current Secretary of State Jay Dardenne (R) has thrown his hat into the ring, as have, GOP Chairman Roger Villere, Jim Crowley (D), Kevin Davis (R), Butch Gautreaux (D), Sammy Kershaw (R), Carolyn Fayard (D), and Melanie McKnight (R). Who do you prefer to be the next Lt. Governor in the great state of Louisiana?

As the main purpose of our LA Lt Gov in recent years has been to promote Louisiana tourism and serve as roving ambassador from Louisiana to the World, Sammy Kershaw would have a running start over the others.

Who outside LA has heard of Jay Dardenne or Roger Villere?

Sammy has the outgoing, FUN personality that we wish to be known for.
