Magar Cleans House

July 12, 2010

NEW IBERIA, LA – Kristian Magar, Ph.D., the Conservative candidate for Congress in Louisiana’s third congressional district, cleaned the house of a voter in New Iberia today.

Magar, a Republican whose message resonates strongly among T.E.A. Party members, cleaned the house of Darla David, a New Iberia resident and local school teacher, who won a contest held by the Magar campaign on Facebook two weeks ago.

“This is what needs to be done in Washington,” Magar said while cleaning a bedroom toward the back of David’s home. “We need a candidate and a representative who isn’t afraid to get dirty and clean all of the dirt out of the back rooms in Congress.”

After David’s house was scrubbed, Magar fired up the barbecue pit and cooked burgers and hot dogs for David’s family and 20 of her friends and coworkers. “We need honest people in Washington,” said one of the family’s friends who attended the barbecue, “he’s got my support.”

Magar has proven himself to be the candidate of the People. “I’m not a career politician. I’m not an attorney. I’m a husband, a father and a businessman. The People deserve a representative who will represent us and not try to rule us.” Magar said.

The contest, which called on Magar’s supporters to suggest his campaign Facebook page to their online friends, drastically increased Magar’s online presence. “Because we are a grassroots campaign and are running a fiscally responsible campaign, we have to be creative in how we get the word out,” said Magar. The campaign staff called the barbecue a success.

Kristian Magar is not "the" conservative candidate as this press release states, written obviously by Magar himself. He is "a" Republican candidate according to his election filing at he Office of the Louisiana Secretary of State.

It appears his candidacy is so exiguous, so puny, that he has time on his hands to run a maid service while serving as its only employee. He also seems to have had some experience in the fast food industry and can handle a hungry lunchtime crowd.

Krisitian, you're a nice guy, but this gimmick is laughable and won't gain you any more votes than the homeowners who got a heck of a good deal on a housecleaning.
