Childrens Health Fund to Hold Town Hall Meeting in Plaquemines

The Plaquemines Community C.A.R.E. Center will welcome the Children’s Health Fund to Plaquemines Parish On June 21st. There will be a town hall meeting at Boothville Venice Elementary School.

“This event is about the children” said Frank Wesley with The Children’s Health Fund.

The organizers would like to meet with as many children and families who have been affected by the spill. The members who will be visiting are Dr. Irwin Redlener, MD. President and Co-Founder of the Children’s Health. Arturo Brito, MD. Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice-President Children’s Health Fund, David Abramson, PhD MPH, Director of Research& Senior Investigator, National Center for Disaster Preparedness, Mailman School of Public Health Columbia University, Jonathan Sury who is a Research Assistant for Dr. Abramson, and Frank J. Wesley, Ed.S., M.Ed., Central Regional Director, ONPA.
