Louisiana Opponents to US Financial Reform Amendments to Stage Protest

Louisiana – Breaking News(4:30pm CT) Opponents to the Financial Reform Bill are set to stage a protest Today, June 10th, at 5:30pm Central Time in front of US Senator Mary Landrieu’s Federal Office located in Downtown Baton Rouge.

The protest is sparked by Amendments #3771 and 3769 of the Financial Reform Bill, in which many feel violate fair free-market practices while giving the government further ability to access privatized information from banks and financial institutions.

The protest will begin Today at 5:30pm local time on 707 Florida Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70801.
