Governor Jindal Signs Bills into Law

BATON ROUGE – Today, Governor Bobby Jindal announced that he has signed the following bills passed by the Legislature into law, bringing the total to ten bills signed into law to date:

HB 54 – Rep. Arnold
This bill renames the National Association of Securities Dealers to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

HB 56 – Rep. Arnold
This bill re-creates the Department of Public Service.

HB 480 – Rep. Montoucet
This bill relates to the membership of the State Parks and Recreation Commission.

HB 997 – Rep. Fannin
This bill relates to the definition of certain nongovernmental organizations
