Governor Bobby Jindal Announces the Appointment of Greg Kleinpeter to the Dairy Stabilization Board

BATON ROUGE- Today, Governor Jindal announced the appointment of Greg Kleinpeter to the Dairy Stabilization Board.

The Dairy Stabilization Board is charged with preventing the use of unfair methods of competition, unfair or deceptive acts and disruptive trade practices in the sale of milk and milk products.

According to the statute, the board is comprised of eight members appointed by the governor including two milk producers, one wholesale grocer, one processor, one retailer, and three consumers.

Greg Kleinpeter, of Baton Rouge, is the owner of American Leak Detection. Kleinpeter will be appointed to serve as a consumer, as required by statute.
